I want to enjoy the feeling of sun and freedom... but I am so overweight, I am ashamed. I weigh about 300. When I see pics, I see healthy, tanned, beautiful people. I am afraid to take the chance. I think nudism would be of great benefit to me. I am not looking for alife partner or a sex partner.. just want to be social... anyone have similar feelings, or have seen anyone like me? Please let me know. Thank you

The feeling of sun on your bare skin and the freedom not to wear clothes is wonderful whatever your size or age! Our club has people of all ages and sizes, but very few of them would fit your description, yet they are all beautiful people on the inside or they wouldn't dare to expose themselves. "Body acceptance" is very important to us. It means that unlike most of society, we don't judge by superficialities or artificial standards of appearance.

Please check out our WINR web page, I am sure it will set your mind at rest.

If you do choose to attend one of our swims (and I hope you do), I'm sure you'll be pleasantly surprised at just how friendly we are and you will find that you are amongst kindred spirits.

Dear RubensGal:

If you think nudism would be of great benefit, you have already taken the first step! At a nudist/naturist campground/resort/function, you would certainly enjoy the feeling of sun and freedom. And nobody would give a hoot about your physical appearance. Take a look at pics on "legitimate" nudist/naturist websites and you will see all shapes and sizes (a good place to start is NetNude.com). If a website only has pics of young, physically beautiful people, it's NOT a legitimate naturist site! E-mail a note to the club and we will send you an information package with our newsletter including a list of our summer activities. We can also put you in touch with some female club members who can give you a woman's perspective of naturism. We are certain you will find non-sexual, social nudity to be very relaxing and free of anxiety and we encourage you to give us a try. Experience the freedom!

Why be ashamed of being over weight. You will go around angry, sad and depressed all the time, who wants to be like that. Enjoy yourself and be happy and forget others mean and nasty comments. They are not happy or they would not talk to you that way....

Not to worry. I'm not exactly a gift to the eyes, but the few times I went to nude events, I was never made to feel bad by anyone. There were thin, thick, heavy people. There was no distinction that I could detect.

Enjoy. No problem.

We are what we are and I think nudists are very open minded. Nude events aren't beauty contests, they are to enjoy clothing freedom with other like minded people. No one hired me to come by and look hot. They welcomed me as a fellow nudist. Get out get nude enjoy!

Picture exchange is one thing, but wouldn't it be even better to meet other nudists of your size in a friendly environment where you are judged for who you are and not what you look like!

Check out http://www.aanr.com and look for a club or resort near where you live.
